Family Fun Center Information

A family fun center, fun center or family amusement center is an entertainment establishment marketed towards families with children or teenagers, often resembling a small amusement park. Until 2001, most Boomers! amusement center locations in California had the brand name "Family Fun Center", and the term came to be used as a generic term for such locations.

Typically, in addition to attractions such as arcades, ball pits, batting cages, laser tag, miniature golf, playgrounds, and amusement rides such a bumper boats, go-karts, water slides, and sometimes rollercoasters, many locations also feature themed restaurants suitable for large group parties. Some family fun centers such as Castle Park and ZDT's Amusement Park, in Texas and Scandia Amusement Park, in California, include a full amusement park, were as some locations, such as Golfland Sunsplash in California and Arizona, include a full water park.
